Small Victories

So we are a quarter to Friday, which means the week is almost over. I have decided to celebrate the little things that have made me smile this week.

Kind Deeds

A young school child asked me to help her cross the road. She called me aunty πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ. I wasn’t going to cross but I helped her get across and crossed to the other side again. I felt good knowing I helped. Might not be life changing but it definitely brightened my day.

Baby Steps Do Count

So this blog has 5 official follows!!! It may not be a lot but I feel good that people do follow. (Never thought my ramblings were interesting enough). So thank you y’all.

Mothers Are Blessings

My mum is the strongest person I know no doubt. She is a beautiful soul. God bless her. She turned 58 this week.

Faking til I make It

Well the debate on whether this is a support worthy statement or not can last an eternity. I suck at being consistent, 2018 has really proved this to the worldπŸ™ˆ. But I am blogging everyday this September for the Afrobloggers’ Blogtember challenge #MyAfricaMyWords. I am patting myself for making it this far 6 days gone, 24 more to go.

Celebrating Friendship

I thank God for the beautiful souls he sends into my life. Some come and go. Some go before they even arrive. But some….some come and they stay. These are the ones I love the most. Making time is hard but I am glad I did this week.

Then there are those that always hover around like guradian angels. The kind that not even distance can foil. Thank you for being my friends.
