Silver Lining

Silver Lining

Skipping, running
A life with no cares
No worries
Who knew the sky that was once so bright
So calm
Would become so cloudy and grey
Who knew of the storm that brew in the horizon
In lands unseen, lands unknown
Turmoil and turbulance so much so
The skies have become unrecognisable
Closed eyes, trying to imagine
The warmth the sun’s rays once gave
All to no avail
The grey has been looming for so long
That even the imagination has been crippled
They say there is always a silver lining to every grey cloud…

This cloud’s lining is yet to be seen.
